Psycho-Educational Assessments

Psycho-Educational assessments are provided for the purpose of identifying areas of academic strength or weakness, diagnosing learning disabilities or giftedness, informing academic planning, and accessing learning support services. Our strength-based approach is structured to provide insights and direction intended to help students perform to their potential, and to assist parents and teachers in supporting the child or youth most effectively.

This process involves: a) A 1-hour initial parent intake meeting b) 3 to 5 hours of in-person test administration c) A 1-hour feedback session d) A written report summarizing assessment results and offering personalized recommendations (typically a 5 to 6 hour report charge).

Some extended health plans will cover a percentage of the cost, so make sure to connect with your provider to see what options you may have. If you are interested, you are email me directly at ksaruk@anchorpointecounselling.com so I can provide you with more specific details on the cost breakdown and provide you with an updated booking timeline. Right now, I am starting to book for October 2025 assessments.
