A Bit About Us...

AnchorPointe Counselling was started by Drs. Graeme and Karla Saruk, psychologists living and raising their family on Bowen Island. Their practice was originally based in Vancouver, but over time it became increasingly apparent that there was a need among the Bowen Island community for psychological counselling and assessment services, particularly supporting children and families managing academic, developmental, and behavioural challenges. When the opportunity opened up to take over a larger office space suitable to assemble a team of clinicians, they jumped at it. Since that time, we have been fortunate to expand our assessment services to the North Shore, Surrey and Fraser Valley. This includes providing assessments for injured workers through WorkSafeBC, First Responders through Veterans Affairs, and to private individuals and familes addressing mental health or academic struggles.  

Our Team

AnchorPointe Counselling Group consists of a team of Registered Psychologists, Registered Clinical Counsellors, Educational Consultants, and Developmental Pediatriatricians.
